 | Shopping Cent$ is a fundraiser for our school, St. John the Baptist. Shopping Cent$ makes sense because it doesn’t require anyone to buy anything they don’t want or need. Gift cards for popular grocery stores, gas stations, restaurants and retailers are purchased by the Shopping Cent$ team at a discount and re-sold at face value to Shopping Cent$ customers. The difference directly supports our school and ranges from 4% to 20% of the card’s face value. This program generated $43,000 for the school during the 2008-2009 school year. Shopping Cent$ gift cards are currently sold after all masses at St. John Neumann twice a month.
