10th Annual Freestore Foodbank Hunger Walk  May 27, 2013
7:00 a.m.  Registration; 9:00 a.m. Race begins

Please join the Pastoral Area/Corpus Christi Food Pantry Team by participating in the 2013 Hunger Walk either by registering to walk or run or by making a donation to the team.  A $20 donation to our team enables us to purchase 100 pounds of food from the Freestore Food Bank.  That 100 pounds of food provides 78 meals for a family of 4.  All pledges to our team are credited to our Freestore Food Bank account to purchase food items. We have over 60 dedicated and caring volunteers from Corpus Christi, St. John Neumann and St. John the Baptist churches that assist every week in the Food Pantry.
To register or make a tax deductible donation log into CincinnatiHungerWalk.org.  Search for and select “Corpus Christi Food Pantry”, team captain, Diane Arnold.
Thank you for your support of the Food Pantry!

Parishioner ~ Tracy Kemme
Sisters of Charity ~Tracy Kemme is 26 years old and taking part in her first year of formation with the Sisters of Charity in Cincinnati.  Tracy publishes blog entitled, Diary of a Sister-in-Traning.  She calls her work an, “intimate look at one young woman’s journey to becoming a Catholic sister.”  She writes in a way that makes readers feel as though they are having a casual conversation with a young woman and gaining insight into her world and experiences.  She explains how God calls each one of us to a particular vocation and how our journey is illuminated along the way.  Her story is an exciting look at her internal struggle of choosing the sisterhood and God revealing her destiny.  We invite you to read Tracy’s blog and follow along with her as she proceeds on her own journey: http://sisterintraining.blogspot.com/.

Stewardship

Stewardship starts with God and His abundance. Our infinite God is the source of infinite abundance. All too often, however, we have a "scarcity mentality." All we can see is what we lack, what we need, what we want. The focus is not on God and His ability to provide for all our needs.
